Dehumidifiers

If your application calls for dehumidification, you are in the right place.  With the Habitat Monitor and one of our dehumidifiers, you can create a cost effective and highly reliable humidistat system.

The Habitat Monitor is the brains of the system and controls the dehumidifier to achieve the optimum humidity for your enclosure.  The Habitat Monitor will turn on the dehumidifier (aka dessicator) when the humidity is too high; and will turn off the dehumidifier when the humidity is low enough.  You select the acceptable range of humidity.

In addition to the stock dehumidifiers listed here, the Habitat Monitor, in combination with our Solid State Switch will control any "off the shelf" dehumidifier with +/- one percent span from the user programmable set point. For example, if you are using a portable dehumidifier, you can plug this into the solid state switch, set the humidity control on the dehumidifier to its maximum (driest) position, and the Monitor will turn the dehumidifier on and off at whatever digital setting you select. If you set the Monitor to 67%, it will turn the dehumidifier on at 68% and off at 66%.
