Coolers
The Habitat Monitor can be used to create an ideal thermostat.
Simply connect the Habitat Monitor to one of our coolers
to create and maintain a controlled temperature. The
Habitat Monitor will turn on the cooler when the temperature
is too hot, and turn off the cooler when it is cool
enough. The programmable control temperature
is easily set by the user and maintained ±1
Degree from Setpoint.

Air Conditioners
The Habitat Monitor, in combination
with our Solid State Switch will
control a cooling appliance (air conditioner, fan,
refrigerator) with +/- one
degree of span from the user programmable set point.
For example, if you are using a window or portable
air conditioner, you can plug this into the solid state
switch, set the temperature control on the AC to its
maximum (coldest) position, and the Monitor will turn
the AC on and off at whatever digital setting you select.
If you set the Monitor to 67F, it will turn the air
conditioner on at 68F and off at 66F.
